What types of materials can be processed?
Depending on the type you choose, virtually everything. The major differences between a stationary compactor versus a self contained compactor is that the latter allows for water to seep through, avoiding rust and rot to the bottom of the container. The self contained model can process wet garbage, whereas the stationary one is better suited for dry materials.
What questions should I consider asking the company before moving forward with the equipment?
You may want to take some time to consider exactly what you will be using the compactor to process. Upon determining your usage, you may consider the following questions:
- How much material can be processed per day?
- What is the largest size box or object the equipment can handle?
- What type of power source will I need?
- Are there any options for having the compactor installed?
Once the equipment has been installed, do you provide training?
Yes, we include training in the invoice for installation. We believe that in order to fully understand the capabilities of the machinery, we are obligated to ensure that you and your staff know how to operate it to the fullest β itβs the service after the installation that counts!
